EMDR Therapy
Sometimes difficult experiences, or past trauma, can continue to affect the way we think, feel, and respond in the present, long after they've happened. EMDR is a evidence-based therapy that can help you process these experiences so they feel less overwhelming, and you can move on to the things that matter to you.
Caregiver Support
Support for parents and caregivers navigating autism, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, school concerns, or family transitions.
Teen Counselling (Ages 12-17)
Adolescence is a time of significant growth, change, and self-discovery. It can also bring unique challenges, including anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, identity exploration, school stress, friendships, family relationships, and navigating neurodivergence.
My goal is to provide teens with a supportive, non-judgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll build practical coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and develop tools that support resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being while honouring each teen's unique strengths and experiences.
Areas of Support
Important Note: Maybe your experience doesn’t fit in any of these categories, and that’s okay. It doesn’t have to. And it likely doesn’t. We can just talk, and figure out next steps together.
Anxiety and Stress
Anxiety and stress can make daily life feel exhausting, leaving you feeling stuck in a seemingly unending cycle of worry, racing thoughts, overwhelm, and heightened nervous system reactions.
Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences contributing to your anxiety while developing practical tools that help you reconnect with a greater sense of calm, resilience, and psychological flexibility.
My goal isn't to eliminate every difficult emotion, but to help you build a relationship with them that allows you to move toward what matters most..
Trauma and PTSD
Trauma and PTSD can shape the way we experience the world, including the way we perceive ourselves, our relationships, and the events that take place around us.
Trauma and PTSD can leave our nervous systems stuck at a state of heightened arousal, where it is constantly searching for a threat that may no longer be present.
We will move through these present discomforts at a pace that feels safe and supportive, while creating space to process difficult experiences—so that you can focus on what matters to you now.
The goal isn’t to forget what happened, but to redefine how we relate with those past experiences.
ADHD and Autism
Neurodivergence varies from person to person in the same way a fingerprint is unique. While neurodivergence may bring with it some challenges or differences that is caused by a mismatch between the way you function and the way society expects one to function, therapy provides a space where you don't have to explain or hide who you are.
My practice is neurodiversity-affirming, meaning we'll work together to better understand your unique experiences, honour your strengths, and develop strategies that support the life you want to build—not change who you are.
Therapy with me is a mask-free zone, if you are comfortable unmasking.
Self-Esteem and Identitry
What do you think when you look in the mirror?
Our sense of self is shaped by our experiences, relationships, culture, and the stories we carry about who we are. If you've been questioning your worth, exploring your identity, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy provides a compassionate space to rediscover your strengths and better understand what makes you uniquely you.
Together, we'll cultivate greater self-acceptance while moving toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
Depression and
Low Mood
Depression and low mood can make life feel heavy, leaving you feeling disconnected from yourself, others, or the things that would usually bring you joy.
You may notice changes in motivation, energy, and sense of hope. You may also experience heavy sensations in your body, or lack thereof, which may leave you questioning what is going in with you.
In therapy, I offer a compassionate space to explore these experiences without the fear of judgment, while also reconnecting you with your strengths, values, and the small steps that can help move you toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Emotional Regulation
I believe emotions happen in our mind and our body simultaneously, and while they deserve to be seen and heard, they can feel overwhelming or difficult to manage.
Emotional regulation isn't about suppressing emotions—it's about learning to understand them, respond to them with greater flexibility, and build confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.
Together, we'll explore the connection between your emotions, thoughts, and nervous system while developing practical skills that support lasting resilience.
Women’s Mental Health
Women's mental health is shaped by a unique combination of biological, emotional, social, and cultural experiences.
Whether you're navigating burnout, hormonal changes, caregiving responsibilities, relationship challenges, or questions surrounding identity, therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and care for your mental and emotional well-being.
Together, we'll explore your experiences with compassion while building practical strategies that support balance, resilience, and lasting wellness.
Burnout
When most people think of burnout, they think of being tired. It can also affect your emotional, mental, and physical well-being. You may find that you struggle to do things you used to do with ease, or you find yourself in a constant state of feeling stuck and disconnected from your needs.
Together, we'll explore the patterns contributing to burnout, reconnect with the signals your body has been sending, and develop sustainable ways to restore balance, establish healthy boundaries, and care for yourself with greater intention and compassion.
Life Transitions
Change is a natural part of life, yet it often brings uncertainty, grief, excitement, and discomfort all at once.
Whether you're navigating a career change, relationship changes, graduation, relocation, or another significant transition, therapy offers a supportive space to process what you're experiencing while remaining connected to your values and moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Relationships and Boundaries
Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of connection, but they can also bring challenges, conflict, and uncertainty. Whether you're navigating family dynamics, friendships, romantic relationships, or learning to set healthier boundaries, therapy provides a space to better understand your relationship patterns while strengthening communication, self-awareness, and self-trust.
Together, we'll explore ways to create relationships that honour both your needs and your values.

A Closer Look at My Approach
Every person's story is unique, which is why I believe therapy shouldn't follow a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from evidence-based therapies while remaining flexible and collaborative, tailoring each session to your individual needs, goals, and lived experiences.
Person-Centered Therapy
At the root of my work is the belief that meaningful healing and growth starts with an authentic connection.
Person-centered therapy encompasses a space that is judgment-free, where you can feel heard, respected, and accepted.
Together, we will explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, allowing therapy to unfold at a pace that feels right for you.
Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)
Life often comes with a mix of unexpected events that can cause a flurry of difficult thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences that we often can’t control. Rather than trying to eliminate discomfort, ACT helps us develop flexibility so we can respond to life’s challenges in a way that aligns with our values.
Together, we will build individualized, practical tools that can be used in your daily life to navigate difficult challenges, while moving towards a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
When difficult things happen to us in our lives, a part of us can feel stuck in that moment. This can show up in the present in ways that influence how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps our brain process the these experiences so that they become less emotionally distressing over time.
While EMDR does not influence or change past events, it can be helpful for concerns such as trauma, anxiety, distressing life experiences, negative self-beliefs, grief, and other experiences that continue to feel emotionally "stuck."
EMDR isn't about reliving painful memories or being pushed to talk about experiences before you're ready. Your sense of safety, choice, and readiness will guide every step of the process.
Somatic-Informed Therapy
Operating from the belief that our minds and body are deeply connected, somatic-informed therapy recognizes that our stress, trauma, and overwhelming experiences can be held within our body and our nervous system.
Somatic-informed therapy gently incorporates body awareness and grounding techniques to help you better understand your body's signals, build emotional regulation, and reconnect with yourself in a safe and supportive way.
Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-informed care recognizes our difficult experiences as potential influences of the way we think, feel, relate to others and experience the world.
Using this approach, my hope is to support individuals in their unique healing journey, while holding space for safety, choice, collaboration, and autonomy.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
I believe neurodiversity is a natural and valuable part of human diversity. Rather than focusing on changing who you are, therapy is centered on understanding your unique experiences, recognizing your strengths, and developing strategies that support your goals in ways that feel authentic to you. My practice is committed to creating an inclusive space where neurodivergent individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered.
What should you expect from therapy?
We will shift towards your goals at your own pace. This can look like standing still, taking baby steps, walking, or running towards change.
Honestly, sometimes, discomfort. It can feel very difficult to share our hardships, and process traumatic events.
Non-linear healing. Sometimes you may experience several ups and downs throughout the process, and that’s okay. We will honour your pace.
A collaborative relationship. I view clients as autonomous drivers of change, and will work together to develop goals that reflect what matters to you.
Individualized care that tailors therapy to suit your unique needs and goals.
A safe, compassionate space where you can share without fear of judgment.
Ready to Get Started?

"As someone who faces their own set of challenges, I understand how difficult it can be to seek support. It can feel vulnerable, uncertain, and overwhelming. Even as you are reading these words, I commend you for existing as you are, now. This is the first step towards growth, and I recognize the courage it has taken to get here."
