My Story

My journey toward understanding others began with a commitment to understanding myself.

As an AuDHD therapist, I've experienced firsthand what it can feel like to move through the world with the sense that you're different, without always having the words to explain why. That journey of self-discovery has shaped not only who I am as a person, but also the way I show up as a therapist. I hope my neurodivergent clients, in particular, feel understood, affirmed, and supported as they make sense of their own experiences. At the same time, my practice welcomes individuals from all walks of life who are seeking greater self-understanding, healing, and growth.

The more I came to understand myself, the more I realized that every person's story is shaped by a unique combination of experiences, relationships, culture, and identity. There is no single path to healing, and no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I believe we all benefit from having someone who can walk alongside us with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care during life's most challenging seasons.

Over time, I began to see a beautiful parallel between human growth and the natural world. Just as a plant doesn't bloom overnight, people grow through seasons. There are times of flourishing, times of uncertainty, and times when simply surviving requires strength. Growth isn't about reaching a final destination—it's about continuing to care for ourselves, adapt, and grow through each new season of life.

That reflection became the inspiration behind Bloomstead Counselling. The name represents my hope of creating a place where people feel rooted in safety, supported through life's changing seasons, and empowered to grow in ways that are authentic to them.

What You Can Expect In Therapy With Me

  • A Safe Space

You can expect to be welcomed into a warm, comfortable space where you can show up just as you are. I invite my clients to bring their authentic selves into therapy without fear of judgment, knowing they'll be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. Wherever you are in your journey, we'll begin there—together.

  • Collaboration

Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe meaningful change happens when we work together. Your autonomy, voice, and informed consent are valued throughout every session. My role is to offer guidance, insight, and evidence-based recommendations while ensuring our work remains centered on your unique goals, values, and needs.

  • Individualized Care

No two people experience life in the same way, and I don't believe therapy should either. Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, goals, and values. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, we'll create a path forward that feels authentic to you.

Just as no two plants grow in exactly the same way, each person's journey unfolds differently. My role is to help create the conditions where your own growth can flourish.

  • Growth

Healing isn't about becoming someone different—it's about reconnecting with yourself. Together, we'll build on your strengths, navigate life's challenges with compassion, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

Beyond the Therapy Room!

Outside of therapy room I enjoy various activities like reading “romantasy” novels, pilates reformer classes, playing video games on my PC and PS5, as well as brain-rot activites like scrolling mindlessly on TikTok. I am also a dog- and cat-mom so I love spending time with my cat Miso and dog Honey, as we enjoy fun adventures together!
